Internship weeks: Pupils get a taste of the professional world at PTW

During the summer vacation, we took part in the internship weeks at Polyurethan-Technik Wagenfeld (PTW) in the district of Diepholz for the first time. Over 100 companies offer students between the ages of 15 and 19 a one-day insight into various professional fields. One of the participants was 18-year-old Carolina Siedenberg, who learned about the profession of industrial clerk with us.

Even if a one-day internship cannot replace a complete career introduction, such insights are valuable for the students. We look forward to introducing young people to the world of work and attracting potential new recruits. Due to the positive response, we are planning to take part again next year. Carolina has gained a clearer idea of her professional future through the internship weeks. She could well imagine a future in tax consultancy or finance.
